Free AI roleplay on Thirst.Chat, in plain numbers
· Competitor details checked
Thirst.Chat runs this site. This page describes our own free plan; details about other sites link to their own pages.
Thirst.Chat has a free allowance, not a free unlimited plan. Each signed-in account receives 100 tokens a day, and every reply, picture or voice clip spends tokens. Below is what that adds up to.
Thirst.Chat is an adult roleplay site with realistic and anime characters, for people over 18. We operate Thirst.Chat, and these are our own numbers.
Start chatting freeTrying it as a guest
No account is needed for a first taste. Guests get 5 free messages with each character, capped at 8 per device per day, on the 10-token models.
A free account unlocks the daily tokens and every other feature. We never ask for a card.
How far the daily tokens go
| Price | Per day, free | |
|---|---|---|
| Chat reply | 10–25 tokens depending on the model | 4 to 10 |
| Reply plus a picture | 25 to 50 tokens | 2 to 4 |
| Spoken reply | 15 tokens or more, by length | A handful |
| Short video (5 s) | 600 tokens and up | Not on daily tokens alone |
The 100 tokens refill each day and do not stack up. Choosing one of the 10-token models out of the 6 gets you the most replies.
More you get at no cost
- New accounts can earn 750 bonus tokens within 14 days: 300 at sign-up (after confirming an email address), 200 after creating or importing a first character, 250 for returning on another day
- The importer brings in characters and chats from Character.AI, JanitorAI and character cards. The first 10 characters and 25 chats cost nothing
- No charge for a reply that fails; pictures and videos that fail are refunded
- Memory editing, pinned facts and swipes are open to every account
When you pay
Beyond the free allowance, you top up with a crypto token pack: $5 (7,500 tokens) to $100 (275,000 tokens), paid in USDC, USDT, SOL or LTC. Thirst.Chat has no subscription, nothing renews, and purchased tokens do not expire. See pricing.
Sites with more free text
We do not give unlimited free text, and some sites do give more. As of November 2026, JanitorAI's free tier offers "unlimited chats" on its standard models. SpicyChat also runs an ad-supported free tier with a 4,096-token context, and Character.AI offers free, unlimited messaging on a site that does not allow pornographic content.
Thirst.Chat spends your tokens on pictures of the character, spoken replies and short videos as well as text. Compare the costs side by side in our AI roleplay price tracker.
